The 8th European Ostracodologists’ Meeting

Pre-conference excursion: Recent and subfossil Ostracoda (July 22-23, 2015)

The 2-days excursion will start from Tallinn and focus on different ostracod habitat in Estonia. The sites to be visited include:

  • Lahemaa National Park (brackish-water Finnish Gulf, small lakes and rivers),
  • Peipsi Lake (the 5th largest lake in Europe),
  • lake Võrtsjärv (270 km2 shallow inland lake in southern Estonia).

A number of sightseeing stops will be included.

The excursion will end in Tartu where the scientific sessions will be held.

The cost will be EUR 200 that includes guidebook, all meals and one night accommodation in double rooms.
